3 tourism development plans released at Jilin Cultural and Tourism Promotion Meeting
On June 14, the Jilin Cultural and Tourism Promotion Meeting, a supporting activity of the Jilin Tourism Development Conference, was held in the Changbai Mountain Protection and Development Zone. At the meeting, the province's tourism promotion slogan "Changbai Mountain and Songhua River in Jilin" and three tourism development plans were released. The Changbai Mountain Tourism Innovation and Development Alliance was inaugurated, and 39 major cultural and tourism projects worth 31.5 billion yuan were successfully signed. Cao Lubao, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and director of its Publicity Department, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The Jilin Border Tourism Corridor Development Plan, the Changbai Mountain Tourism Development Plan and the Songhua River Basin (Jilin section) Tourism Development Plan were released to promote the high-quality development of the G331 National Highway tourism route, the Changbai Mountain area and the Songhua River Basin, and to accelerate the building of a trillion-level tourism industry cluster in the province.
The Changbai Mountain Tourism Innovation and Development Alliance, jointly initiated by the Changbai Mountain Protection and Development Zone Management Committee, the Yanbian prefecture government, the Baishan municipal government and Jilin Forest Industry Group, was officially inaugurated at the meeting. The Changbai Mountain Tourism Innovation and Development Alliance Strategic Cooperation Agreement was signed on the spot.
Following a market-oriented and law-based approach, the Changbai Mountain Tourism Innovation and Development Alliance aims to create a Changbai Mountain IP and maintain the Changbai Mountain brand. The alliance will build a service platform for business entities, speed up the integration of tourism resources in the Changbai Mountain area, share resources, create brands, expand markets, achieve mutually beneficial cooperation, and promote the high-quality tourism development of Changbai Mountain.
At the meeting, multiple song and dance performances vividly showcased the unique characteristics of Changbai Mountain, Songhua River, G331 National Highway and other well-known tourist attractions in Jilin.
