Translation work serves as a vital medium for cross-linguistic cultural communication and is an important indicator of a country's cultural soft power. Founded in 1984, JTA has played an important role in supporting China's international communication efforts and Jilin's reform and opening-up, promoting foreign cultural exchanges and international communication, fostering new service industries, and energizing the translation sector, creating a sound internal and external environment for industrial development. Since moving into Jilin International Studies University in 2018, the association has achieved a strong connection between the translation industry and the university, providing an effective platform for fully exerting its function of serving society.
