On October 13, the Third China New E-Commerce Conference kicked off in Changchun. Qi Xuchun, Vice Chairman of the 12th CPPCC National Committee, and Jing Junhai, Secretary of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Hu Yuting, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Governor of Jilin Province, presided over the opening ceremony. 34 key projects were collectively signed with an amount of about 10 billion yuan.

Ren Hongbin, President and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, delivered a video speech, proposing that we should vigorously boost digital economy, empower the new e-commerce to achieve high-quality development, accelerate the development of cross-border e-commerce, give a new impetus for foreign trade, adhere to the global vision, and proactively participate in the formulation of relevant digital rules. Niu Yibing, Deputy Director of the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission and the Cyberspace Administration of China, made a speech, putting forward hopes and requirements on deepening the integration of the digital economy and the real economy, stimulating innovation, focusing on expanding and upgrading capacity, releasing consumption vitality, adhering to the people-oriented, and enhancing the effectiveness of service, creating a healthy environment and improving the governance capacity.

The main forum of the conference released the China New E-Commerce Development Report 2023.
