The 2023 Changchun Auto Parts Cross-border E-commerce Fair, serving as a supporting event for the 20th Changchun Auto Expo, grandly kicked off at the Import and Export Commodity Exhibition and Trading Center of the Changchun Xinglong Comprehensive Bonded Zone on July 19, 2023. The event was hosted by the Changchun Committee of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Foreign Affairs Office of Changchun Municipal People's Government, the Changchun Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and the Management Committee of Changchun Xinglong Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and was co-organized by the Changchun Chamber of International Commerce and the Changchun Auto Parts Distribution Chamber of Commerce. The specific execution of the fair was undertaken by Jilin Yifei Internet Technology Co., Ltd.

Spanning an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, the fair featured four main thematic areas: passenger vehicle parts exhibition area, commercial vehicle parts exhibition area, new energy vehicle parts exhibition area, and second-hand car exhibition area. Over 500 companies from more than 10 countries and regions, as well as 16 domestic provinces and cities, participated in the fair, showcasing nearly 20,000 auto parts products, including engines, chassis, vehicle structures, electronic systems, seats, batteries, charging equipment, etc. Nearly 1,000 attendees were invited, including overseas buyers from Russia, Central Asia, West Asia, North Africa, and domestic professional audiences. Simultaneously, the 5G live cloud exhibition and cloud sales of the fair were carried on various domestic and foreign live-broadcasting platforms such as Alibaba, Tiktok, Shopify, Douyin, and Kuaishou, reaching out to more than 200 countries and regions in English, Japanese, Russian, and Korean languages through Changchun Live Broadcasting Base.

The opening ceremony was attended by more than 200 representatives, including leaders from the Department of Commerce of Jilin Province, relevant departments of the Changchun Municipal Government, and the CPPCC Changchun Municipal Committee, representatives from domestic and foreign business associations and economic and trade organizations, foreign buyers, representatives of exhibitors, and media reporters.

Chi Chuang, Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of Jilin Province, and Gorilov Anton Viktorovich, Deputy Consul General of the Russian Consulate General in Shenyang, gave speeches. Xue Wenge, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Changchun Municipal Committee, declared the opening of the fair. During the opening ceremony, Li Weiguo, Director of the Changchun Economic and Technological Development Zone, Vyeselov Mihai Vitalievich, Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the Primorsky Territory, Liu Jianping, President of the Ningbo Enterprises Association for Foreign Economic Relations & Trade, and Yu Hong, Deputy General Manager of China FAW Group Import and Export Co., Ltd., also delivered their respective speeches. Furthermore, strategic cooperation agreements were signed between the Changchun Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Russian Chita Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the Primorsky Territory. Additionally, strategic cooperation agreements were also signed between the Changchun Chamber of International Commerce and the Ningbo Enterprises Association for Foreign Economic Relations & Trade, and the Qingdao Chamber of International Commerce. At the same time, the unveiling ceremony of the China-Russia Cross-border Auto Parts Trading Center was held during the event.
