New Mayor of Changchun Mr. Liu Xin

The 3rd Meeting of the 15th Changchun Municipal People’s Congress concluded with a success. Liu Xin was elected Mayor of Changchun City Thursday morning on January 17, 2019.

Also at the meeting, Zhu Yongan was elected Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 15th Changchun Municipal People’s Congress; Li Cheng, Secretary-General of the Standing Committee of the 15th Changchun Municipal People’s Congress; Wang Xiaodong, Wang Jirong, Du Fu, Ming Xiang and Cao Li, Members of the Standing Committee of the 15th Changchun Municipal People’s Congress; Cheng Fengyi, President of Intermediate People’s Court of Changchun City.

Constitutional Oath

The aforementioned newly elected officials attended the constitutional oath held at the meeting, which was presided over by Wang Junzheng, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee. The newly elected Mayor Liu Xin of Changchun Municipal People’s Government led the group in the constitutional oath.
