Krasnoyarsk has a good technology and energy foundation, and the two cities can cooperate on scientific research and infrastructure construction in the future. The two cities have huge space for cooperation in agricultural products and food processing. Both cities have rich resources of colleges and universities. In the future, they can strengthen cooperation among universities and promote the establishment of sister colleges and universities. In 2017, Changchun Gongzheng Industrial Group took the initiative to cooperate with two processing enterprises in Krasnoyarsk, and launched a Chinese herbal medicine planting project in the local area. In March 2019, the 29th Winter Universiade will be held in Krasnoyarsk when, as a sister city, Changchun can send representatives of college athletes to Krasnoyarsk.
