Prachin Buri Province is a province in eastern Thailand (“Province” is a first-level administration in Thailand), 120 kilometers from Bangkok. It has an area of ​​4,762 square kilometers and a population of 449,621 (2016). The province is divided into seven counties, with 65 districts and 658 villages.

Honda Motor (Thailand) invested 17.2 billion baht in the Rojana Industrial Park in Prachin Buri to build a factory for the production of family cars. The plant was commissioned in March 2016 with an initial annual capacity of 60,000 vehicles, aiming for an estimated annual production of 120,000 vehicles in the future.
The main attractions in the city include the Phichit Temple, the Prachin Buri National Museum, the Traditional Medicine Museum, Cultural Center of Prachin Buri Province, and the Heo Narok Waterfall.
