Changchun Mingde Primary School in Chaoyang District was established in 1962. It was named after Mingde Road, where Tongzhi Street Primary School moved to. In 2004, according to the needs of school development, a new office building was built at the original site of the former preschool teaching department at the southern end of the school playground. It is currently a key primary school in Chaoyang District.
