Project construction serves as a vital pillar for high-quality development. Since the beginning of April, the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone has been firmly focused on its construction goals and tasks and has intensified efforts to enhance the quality and pace of construction, igniting a surge in spring project development.

 

At the project site of Changchun Bioxun Biotech Co., Ltd., which is designed to produce 120,000 boxes of pathogen detection kits and various monoclonal antibody reagents annually, advanced equipment is being installed and debugged by technicians.

 

"This project involves a total investment of over RMB 200 million and is progressing steadily," said Li Zhigang, Manager of Production Division III at Bioxun Biotech. The Experimental Animal Center, Innovation Center, and Logistics Center are nearing completion, while equipment installation in the production workshops is being accelerated. Upon full operation, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of RMB 2 billion.

 

Since the onset of spring, enterprises and projects in the Demonstration Zone have sped up production and construction, kicking off a spring campaign for high-quality development in a new year. One particularly high-profile project is the R&D platform for lithium metal anode materials, along with the quasi-solid-state battery demonstration line. Invested in by Jilin Dongchi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., the 250-million-yuan project is located in Buildings 10 and 26 of the Demonstration Zone's Industrial Innovation Base. Scheduled to be constructed from March 2025 to December 2026, it aims to establish a quasi-solid-state lithium battery demonstration line and a lithium metal anode R&D platform.

 

"Back in June last year, we successfully rolled out our independently developed solid-state battery in Changchun," said a representative from Dongchi New Energy. The product, characterized by a long lifespan, low cost, and high energy efficiency, is applicable in EVs, electric ships, drones, and other fields, enhancing safety and endurance. The company plans to leverage the demonstration line and R&D platform to strengthen innovation and applications and boost high-quality development in the new energy vehicle and energy storage industries.

 

"This year, we introduced a new intelligent canning line for frozen pear craft beer and ginseng wheat beer, which is currently being fine-tuned and will soon begin production," said Zhang Jiafeng, General Manager of Changchun Xueniu Craft Beer Co., Ltd, located in the Demonstration Zone's Healthy Food Industry Park. The new production line integrates world-leading canning technologies and digital control systems, with a production capacity of up to 6,000 cans per hour. It also supports flexible switching among 330ml, 500ml, and 1,000ml can sizes to meet customized demand and help the company tap into diversified markets. In addition, the line features an intelligent quality inspection module that uses high-precision infrared detection to instantly identify and remove defective cans, abnormal fill levels, and other problems, ensuring a 100% product pass rate.

 

"From the start, we've treated every step like a sprint and every launch like a decisive battle," said a representative from the Demonstration Zone. In 2025, the Demonstration Zone plans to advance 52 projects of RMB 50 million or more, totaling RMB 26.7 billion. These include 21 new projects like the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone Intelligent Computing Center with a total investment of RMB 3.4 billion and 31 continuation projects, such as the expansion of Dongfang Vocational College, amounting to RMB 23.3 billion. To accelerate project completion and operation, the Demonstration Zone is providing comprehensive services throughout the project lifecycle for enterprise production and project construction through assistance with approvals, proxy handling of procedures, and expedited resolution of issues.
