Jilin Airport Plans to Operate 165 Routes During the Summer Aviation Season
In order to vigorously promote the seasonal changes for the summer aviation season in 2025 and fully showcase the tourism resources in our province, as well as promote the deep integration of aviation and tourism within the province, Jilin Provincial Civil Aviation Airport Group Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Changchun City Development and Reform Commission, local tourism bureaus, airlines, tourism companies, and news media, jointly held the 2025 Summer Aviation Season Route Promotion Conference on March 27th.
During the 2025 summer season, 37 subsidiary airlines of Jilin Provincial Civil Aviation Airport Group Co., Ltd. have planned to operate a total of 165 routes, with the number of destinations reaching 84. Among them, the performance of Changchun Airport is particularly outstanding, as 32 airlines are planning to operate 136 routes, covering 76 destinations, with the addition of Suparan Airlines and Western Air.
In terms of the domestic market, the focus is on increasing the frequency and optimizing Beijing flights, from 13 daily flights to 14 flights (with 1 additional flight at the Capital Airport), thereby filling the gap in outbound flights for the Changchun to Beijing Capital route during the 13:00 time slot in the summer season. At the same time, Changchun Airport has increased the frequency of 9 city routes compared to the previous year, including Beijing, Kunming, Wuhan, Changsha, Zhengzhou, Tianjin, Nanning, Hohhot, and Hefei. Regarding international and regional routes, a total of 7 destinations have been consistently and stably opened, including Hong Kong, Seoul and Jeju in South Korea, Tokyo in Japan, Bangkok in Thailand, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, and Nha Trang in Vietnam.
Through this route promotion conference, various parties have reached multiple significant consensus in key areas such as resource integration, service enhancement, and market promotion. In the future, staying committed to its service philosophy, Jilin Provincial Civil Aviation Airport Group Co., Ltd. will spare no effort in building a more competitive and influential aviation hub, and join hands with partners from all sectors to collectively promote the prosperity of the aviation market in Jilin Province, drive the vibrant development of the tourism industry, and deliver a superior and convenient travel experience for our valued passengers.
