“The Story of CPC—Achievements of Northeast China in Practicing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era” Special Promotion Conference was held in Changchun.
On October 14, by the International Department of CPC Central Committee and CPC Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee, Liaoning Provincial Committee, Jilin Provincial Committee, Heilongjiang Provincial Committee co-sponsored “The story of the CPC —— “The Story of CPC—Achievements of Northeast China in Practicing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era” Special Promotion Conference was held in Changchun. With the theme of Striving for New Breakthroughs in the Full Revitalization of Northeast China, through the development story of three Province and one region in Northeast China in the new Era, it shows that the Central Committee of the CPC, with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, adheres to the people centered policy, promoting integrated development of region, the vivid practice and positive result of promoting Chinese style modernization with high quality development. More than 200 political party leaders from more than 50 countries, some foreign diplomatic envoys in China and representatives of foreign business communities in China attended the meeting. Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC, stated in his speech that since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has adhered to the new development concept, proposed and improves the strategy of regional coordinated development. General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to the development of Northeast, he has visited the region multiple times since the new Era, and held a special symposium on the revitalization of the Northeast, providing guidance for the revitalization and development of the region and leading it towards a new path of high quality development and sustainable revitalization. The CPC is ready to work with political parties around the world, taking inclusiveness as the fundamental direction of development to promote North-South exchanges and deepen South-South cooperation, strive to solve global development imbalances and deficits with a view to ensuring that no country or region is left behind. Take the people’s well-being as the basic purpose of development and promote the joint construction of the Belt and Road, implement the three major global initiative, and share the fruits of development with people of all countries; taking innovation as the core driving force for development, promoting technology and institutional innovation, empowering traditional industries, lighting up emerging and future industries, and injecting more impetus into global prosperity and development.
Sun Shaocheng, secretary of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee, Hao Peng, secretary of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee, Huang Qiang, Secretary of the Jilin Provincial Party Committee, and Xu Qin, Secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee, delivered speeches and participated in interactive exchanges on site or through video conferencing. They stated that the three provinces and one region of Northeast China should bear in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping's instructions on the development of Northeast China, faithfully practice the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important speeches and instructions, fully and accurately implement the new development concept, firmly grasp the important mission of Northeast China in maintaining national "five major security", grasp the primary task of high-quality development and the strategic task of building a new development pattern, strive to cultivate and strengthen new quality productive forces, innovate and build a modern industrial system with Northeast characteristics and advantages, and consolidate the foundation of comprehensive and sustainable revitalization of Northeast China. In recent years, the development of Northeast China has shown a promising situation, with increased economic and social vitality and continuous improvement in people's living standards. The comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China has shown new and broad prospects.
During the story sharing session, ordinary Party members and grassroots representatives from different industries in three provinces and one region told a vivid story of the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China from the perspectives of scientific and technological innovation, food production, energy transformation, ecological protection and international cooperation.
During the promotion meeting, a trade promotion conference for the three provinces and one region in Northeast China was also held.
The foreign guests at the meeting warmly congratulated the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, spoke highly of China's great achievements in economic and social development and China's positive contribution to world development since the new era, and said that by witnessing the development of Northeast China, they have enhanced their confidence in China's economic development prospects, the new development concept proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping not only has significant guiding significance for China, but also has important reference value for other countries in the world, especially developing countries.
