Proposal for Future Key Cooperation Directions
As a city that has been a sister city of Changchun for more than 20 years, Masterton is already an old friend of Changchun. The most successful and most important cooperation between the two cities is the exchange of teachers. As a program of more than 10 years history, from the original exploration to the current annual exchange of teachers or education experts, it is the result of joint efforts of both sides, and it could not have been achieved without the full assistance of educational institutions and departments from both sides. In 2016, Changchun No. 30 Middle School established a sister school relationship with St Matthew's Collegiate School in Masterton.
Since agriculture and animal husbandry is New Zealand's largest industry and one of the pillar industries of Changchun, we hope to explore more cooperation with Masterton in agriculture and animal husbandry in the future.
