Players from our city participated in the chess tournament of China-Russia Sister Cities and friendly cooperative cities
On November 14, the China-Russia Sister Cities and Friendly Cooperation Cities Chess Championship was successfully held in Kazan, with six chess players from the city participating online.
The China-Russia Sister Cities and Friendly Cooperative Cities Chess Tournament is one of the series of events of the Russian-China mutually beneficial Cooperation "Sprout" Forum. Hosted by Kazan Municipal Government, the competition aims to promote chess, strengthen cooperation in the field of sports between China and Russia, and enhance friendly relations between Chinese and Russian cities. This year, a total of 26 teams from China and Russia participated in the competition, with nearly 160 participants.
Recommended by the municipal Sports Association, Jilin Province Huizhi Chess Club sent 6 chess players to participate in this competition. Their excellent chess skills and stable play successfully completed the competition and won high praise from the organizing committee.
The "Germination" Forum of mutually beneficial Cooperation between Russia and China is a commercial forum organized by the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, to promote the development of business cooperation and investment projects between China and Russia. Every year, government agencies, enterprises, international organizations and business groups from more than 20 countries and 55 regions of Russia attend the event. Up to 3,700 people will participate in 2023. This year, our city also sent an economic and trade delegation to participate in the forum.
