The 12th China Changchun International Ceramics Symposium to Kick Off in August at Lianhuashan Eco-tourism Resort

The 12th China Changchun International Ceramics Symposium, organized by Changchun Lianhuashan Eco-tourism Resort, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Changchun Municipal People's Government, and the Changchun Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, will open in August at Lianhuashan Eco-tourism Resort.
 
With the theme of "Classic • Uniqueness • Fusion", this event carries profound significance, preserving the essence of traditional national culture through classic works, presenting diverse artistic charm through unique creativity, and breaking cultural barriers through exchange and integration. Since registration began in December 2024, the event has gathered 807 sample works from 242 ceramic artists across 59 countries and regions.
In May 2025, after evaluation by the review committee, 30 artists from 19 countries, including China, Belarus, Germany, Australia, Russia, France, the Netherlands, Canada, Cameroon, the United States, Mongolia, Portugal, Japan, Türkiye, Spain, Congo, Bulgaria, Vietnam, and Iran, were selected to participate in the exhibition.
 
The event will run for 20 days, from August 5 to 25, 2025, during which the artists will engage in on-site creative activities at Lianhuashan Eco-tourism Resort. A series of activities, such as public open days and master ceramic art lectures, will also be held.
Throughout the symposium, Chinese and international ceramic artists will gather at Lianhuashan Eco-tourism Resort to exchange techniques and share inspiration. The event will significantly promote cultural exchange and mutual learning between China and other countries, enriching the artistic atmosphere of the city and bringing elegant art experiences to the public. Furthermore, the unique ecological and cultural appeal of the resort is expected to gain greater renown both at home and abroad through this grand occasion, thereby attracting more people to come and explore its distinctive charm.
