On June 17, a rail-sea intermodal train loaded with corn slowly departed from the Changchun Xinglong Railway Port, marking the official launch and operation of the first rail-sea intermodal train from Changchun to Hebei Qinhuangdao Port. Since then, Changchun International Land Port has achieved full rail-sea intermodal transport coverage to the Bohai Rim region. This new route deeply integrates the hub advantages of Changchun and Hebei, creating an efficient and convenient logistics corridor tailored for products "Made in Northeast China". It establishes a solid logistical bridge to support the coordinated development of the regional economy and plays a vital role in facilitating domestic economic circulation and promoting industrial synergy and upgrading.

With the strong support from the Changchun Railway Logistics Center of China Railway Shenyang Bureau Group Co., Ltd., the rail-sea intermodal train from Changchun to Hebei's port relies on the well-established multimodal transport corridor system of the Changchun International Land Port. Goods are quickly consolidated at the Changchun Xinglong Railway Port, then transferred through the Qinhuangdao Port, and delivered directly to markets across North China, East China, South China, and even overseas. Leveraging the newly introduced rail-sea intermodal transport "one-bill system" service, enterprises can benefit from an end-to-end logistics solution featuring "one commission and one container to the destination". This significantly simplifies the previous transportation process requiring multiple transfers, and boosts delivery efficiency by over 30%, enabling goods from Northeast China to be delivered nationwide and globally at lower costs and with higher efficiency.

It is learned that the opening of the rail-sea intermodal train from Changchun to the Qinhuangdao Port is a crucial step in building a three-dimensional logistics network. It adds a new port partner to Changchun's maritime access options. In the future, capitalizing on the functional strengths of Hebei's ports and the multimodal transport hub system of Changchun International Land Port, an integrated "port-shipping" development pattern will take shape, jointly propelling Changchun and Jilin Province toward new heights in opening up. The types of transported goods will expand from grains to high-value-added categories such as auto parts and industrial products. Measures such as optimizing shipping space allocation and increasing train frequency will be implemented to reduce logistics costs.

Changchun International Land Port will deepen its strategic cooperation with ports in the Bohai Rim region to speed up the development of the "hub economy" in both areas and gradually expand the scale of the rail-sea intermodal transport business in Jilin Province. Meanwhile, green transport models such as "bulk-to-container" and "road-to-rail" transportation will be promoted to help Northeast China's old industrial base build a new "dual circulation" development pattern, provide strong logistical support for the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China in the new era and foster deeper interconnected development of the regional economy and national industrial chains.
