On April 18, Zhang Enhui, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee, along with Mayor Wang Zilian, met with academicians Li Jun and Li Keqiang of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, who were in Changchun to participate in the 5th China FAW Science and Technology Conference.

 

Zhang Enhui said that Changchun is thoroughly implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Symposium on Promoting the Comprehensive Revitalization of Northeast China in the New Era while following the high-quality development strategy of "One Main Focus and Six Pairs of Coordinated Tasks" and building a new "464" industrial pattern according to the deployment of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee. By doing so, it aims to accelerate the development of new quality productive forces, promote the transformation and upgrading of the automobile industry, and create a trillion-level industrial cluster. Zhang Enhui encouraged the two academicians to give full play to their professional expertise and put forward more valuable advice on the development of Changchun's automobile industry, especially on innovative new energy vehicles and intelligent connected technology, to help advance the industry and promote new industrialization in Changchun.
