As a future pillar industry and a key economic growth pole for Changchun, the spring groundbreaking ceremony for Zhongzhijie's Processing, R&D, and Production Base for 50,000-ton Agricultural Products Annually was grandly held on April 20 at the Changchun Comprehensive Bonded Zone Food Industrial Park. Over 500 guests from the government, enterprises, banks, supply chains, and other sectors attended the ceremony.

The Changchun Comprehensive Bonded Zone Food Industrial Park is located in the Xinglong Comprehensive Bonded Zone in the Changchun Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a total planning area of 1 square kilometer. Relying on the high-quality agricultural product resources of Northeast China, it focuses on attracting enterprises specializing in deep processing of agricultural products, modern food processing, central kitchen and pre-cooked food processing, aiming to create a professional industrial base, an end-to-end industrial ecosystem, and an integrated industrial town. The park is designed as a large-scale industrial cluster for enterprises in agricultural product processing and food-related industrial chains, helping Jilin transform from a major granary province to an industrial powerhouse.

The industrial park features an innovative model with policy incentives and introduces comprehensive upstream and downstream supporting services around production, processing, and manufacturing throughout the chain. It implements unified planning and design, unified sectioned land allocation, independent property ownership, unified customized investment attraction, centralized sewage treatment, and other supporting infrastructure. Furthermore, it provides over 40 full-service agency offerings and more than 20 services including credit financing, allowing enterprises to entirely focus on their business operations without worrying about other aspects.

Zhongzhijie is the core of the park and its Processing, R&D, and Production Base for 50,000-ton Agricultural Products Annually covers an area of 76,000 square meters. It is scheduled to begin operations in February 2025 and will integrate R&D, production, storage, sales, office, dormitory, food museum, and educational experience, to create a new industrial landmark where production, processing, food culture, and cultural tourism come together.
