According to Jilin Airport Group's 2024 Summer Flight Route Promotion Meeting in recent days, this summer, 33 passenger and cargo airlines will operate 149 routes at Changchun Longjia International Airport, which will connect 81 cities. Notably, Suparna Airlines will make its debut in Changchun.
At the meeting, airlines expressed optimism about the development prospects of the aviation market in Jilin Province, and pledged to increase support and investment in route development and plan for additional flights during the summer peak season in advance.
In the new flight season, 33 passenger and cargo airlines plan to operate 149 routes at Changchun Longjia International Airport, which will connect 81 cities. Suparna Airlines will make its debut in Changchun. New destinations include Hulunbuir and Ulanhot in Inner Mongolia, Heze in Shandong, and Fuyang in Anhui. The flight frequency between Changchun Longjia International Airport and airports serving ten million passengers or more per year will continue to increase. There will be 23 daily flights to Shanghai, 13 daily flights to Beijing, 10 or more daily flights to cities such as Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Hangzhou, and Qingdao, and seven or more daily flights to cities including Kunming, Xi'an, Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Changsha, Haikou, and Sanya.
To meet the efficiency demands of public and business travelers, Changchun Longjia International Airport is increasing the proportion of direct flights and has added regular direct flights to Kunming and Urumqi. Internationally, four destinations have been confirmed. They are Seoul, South Korea (11 flights per week), Tokyo, Japan (three flights per week), Hong Kong, China (one flight per week), and Frankfurt, Germany (one flight per week).
