It's known from the Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology that the 2022 annual FAW Independent Innovation (R&D of key core technologies) Major Scientific and Technological Project has determined to support 12 projects covering 30 subjects and has posted an announcement to attract achievements nationwide. After specifying the candidates, the provincial and municipal scientific and technological innovation special funds, FAW Group and other relevant enterprises will provide RMB 414 million of financial support.

The 12 major scientific and technological innovation projects specified involve fields like the advanced technology research for human-machine co-driving and the key technical research for low-temperature long-life fuel cell. As required, the candidates shall be Chinese universities or colleges, or scientific research institutes, enterprises, or their consortiums. The Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Changchun Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, jointly with the demander FAW Group, will organize experts to review candidates' qualifications and subject schemes for tackling key problems, and determine the subjects and the successful candidates.
