Since work resumption commenced on May 5th, the five major FAW factories in Changchun have been steadily ramping up production, and thus far cumulative output of the Changchun area has reached approximately 33,000 vehicles. As of May 5th, some 92,000 staffs of returned to work at the five major FAW factories in Changchun and the 502 tier-one suppliers, 74,000 of which commute to work under a "point to point" closed transportation system, while 18,000 remain completely on-site at factories. Daily production capacity of whole vehicles of the five major FAW factories has surpassed 4,000 vehicles.
