FAW-Volkswagen sold 580,529 cars (including imported cars) in the first quarter of this year, up 72% year on year, having ranked in the leading position in domestic market for 22 consecutive months, according to data released by FAW Volkswagen Co., Ltd. on April 2, 2021. 

Statistics show significant increases have been achieved in the sales of FAW-VW’s three brands, including 337,000 for VW, up 69% year on year; 207,196 (including imported cars) for Audi, a year-on-year increase of 83.3%; and 36,333 for Jetta, up 54% year on year. 

FAW-VW has also made new breakthroughs in electrification and digital transformation, providing a role model for the reform of “new four modernizations” of automobile industry. In the future, FAW-VW will focus on transformation and upgrading, continue providing customers with more, better products and services, and thus make greater contributions to promoting the high-quality development of automobile industry of China.
