Infrastructure Construction for Film, TV Industrial Park in Jingyue Hi-tech Zone Started

The infrastructure construction for the Film and Television Industrial Park in Jingyue Hi-tech Industry Development Zone was officially started on February 21, 2021. The project, located along the Shengtai Street, opened the prelude to the construction of the “three early” projects in Jingyue Hi-tech Industry Development Zone. 

With a total investment of RMB1.171 billion and a floor area of 133,200 square meters, the project will create a film and television media complex and post production center. It will provide a strong support for accelerating the settlement of film, television, culture and tourism industry in Jingyue Hi-tech Industry Zone, promoting the high-quality, rapid development of Changchun International Film Town, and improving the core competitiveness of film, television and other relevant industries of Jilin Province. Insiders say Jingyue Hi-tech Industry Development Zone has planned to have 70 “three early” projects started, with a total investment of RMB110 billion and an amount of RMB15 billion planned to be invested this year. 

To make first breakthroughs in the construction of the “four major plates", Jingyue Hi-tech Industry Development Zone has mobilized all involved with pragmatic, concrete measures soft or hard to take the lead in project investment, construction and service. From January 18, the first working day after the Spring Festival holiday, the competent leaders of Jingyue Hi-tech Industry Development Zone started sorting out projects one after another to find out solutions to the “points of painfulness”, and thus ensure early settlement, start and effect of all projects. 

The construction of projects is taken as the first and foremost in Jingyue Hi-tech Industry Development Zone in 2021. For the whole year, there will be 143 fixed-asset investment projects invested with more than RMB50 million each, totaling RMB173.15 billion. A total of RMB24.3 billion will be invested in the year, an estimated increase of 12% year on year. On the “list of projects”, “Future City Jingyue”, “Digital Technology Incubation Base”, “Film, Television and Culture Incubation Park” and “Jingyue · Zhongdong Port” are in such fields as film, television, culture and tourism, life and health, digital economy and infrastructure. The number of new projects is 75, accounting for 52% of the total planned to start or resume in the whole year in which RMB13.346 billion will be invested, accounting for 54.92% of the planned amount.
