The 2nd Global (Changchun) Manufacturing Service Outsourcing Summit Opened
The 2nd Global (Changchun) Manufacturing Service Outsourcing Summit was opened on October 15, 2020. Jing Junhai, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Governor of Jilin Province, delivered a speech at the summit.
On behalf of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and the People’s Government of Jilin Province, Jing Junhai extended his congratulations on the opening of the summit, saying, “Manufacturing is an important foundation for real economy, and service outsourcing is an important facilitator for high-quality development. Since the first summit was held, key platforms have been approved, industrial advantages have been released in a concentrated manner and rapid growth has been made in service trade in Jilin Province, which in turn has opened a new journey for the development of manufacturing service outsourcing.”
“The theme of this summit is ‘service enhances the value of intelligent manufacturing and outsourcing generates win-win results for global partners’. It is a practical action to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and instructions, and also a pragmatic measure to promote the deep integration of manufacturing and service industries. We are willing to work with all sides to follow the trend of digitalized, connected and intelligent development, build up a cooperation platform, broaden market access, renovate services, and strive to contribute to the development of service trade of the world, with efforts put into focusing on the new needs of personalization, customization and functionalization to promote the leap-forward transformation from labor-intensive to capital and knowledge-intensive services while insisting on the principle of putting people in the first place to create a new industrial ecology featuring chain-type extension, integrated supply, cross-border integration. We will create favorable conditions with high-quality and efficient services for the development of enterprises,” said Jing Junhai.
The videos of speeches by deputy director general of WTO and vice minister of commerce of China were played at opening ceremony in which the consul general of France in Shenyang, former vice minister of economic development and famous economic expert of Italy, and general manager of FAW Group delivered keynote speeches.
The Development Report 2020 of Manufacturing Service Outsourcing of China and Strategic Planning of Core Area of Changchun National Regional Innovation Center were released and six project cooperation agreements including Innovative Development Pilot for Service Trade, High-quality Development Union in the Core Area of Changchun National Regional Innovation Center were signed during the summit.
Zhang Zhijun, Mayor of Changchun City, presided over the ceremony which was attended by more than 170 people including government officials Wang Kai, Li Wei and Wang Zhihou as well as competent representatives of departments and bureaus of the Ministry of Commerce of China, famous business associations and multinational companies.
