The 5-memebr delegation of Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Changchun City visited Changchun Foreign Affairs Office (CCFAO) on July 28, 2020. Xue Chunzhi, Director General of CCFAO, met the delegation.

The Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Changchun City has been committed to promoting the economic development and strengthening the friendly exchanges between China and Japan since founded in 1997. Its members are mainly working for the manufacturers and dealers of auto parts in cooperation with FAW. The chamber has so far had 60 enterprises and 167 members.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the achievements of friendly exchanges over the past years and the promotion of partnership in the future. Director General Xue Chunzhi extended his congratulations on the appointment of new president and directors of the chamber, saying, “Since its establishment, your chamber has made positive contributions to the socioeconomic development of Changchun City and the friendly exchanges between China and Japan. All involved on our side are willing to join hands with your new members to promote the friendship, cooperation and exchanges between the two sides.”

“I would take this chance to thank your city for your support over the past years especially your office’s great effort in such aspects as providing anti-pandemic supplies, helping enterprises out of their difficulties and promoting resumption of work and production during this period. We are willing to strengthen cooperation and deepen friendship with your city for a better future,” said the president of the chamber.

In the future, CCFAO will work with the chamber to promote the development and exchanges of Japanese-funded enterprises in Changchun City while continuing optimizing service to create a sound business environment that meets international standards and needs, facilitates Chinese enterprises visiting Japan and attracts Japanese enterprises to come to Changchun for entrepreneurship and development, thereby promoting the cooperation and exchanges between the two cities up to a new level.
