According to the information released by the FAW Group on September 5, FAW sold 2.106 million cars from January to August, 2019.  

Since early this year, FAW has taken active countermeasures against economic downwardness while reinforcing its development self-confidence, accelerating transformational opening up, enhancing core competitiveness, and strengthening construction of proprietary brands to realize high-quality development. The sales of its three brands, HQ, Jingfang and Besturn secured counter-trend growths in the period from January to August during which 52,000 HQ cars were sold, an increase of 231% over the same period of last year. The number of sales in a single month of August exceeded 10,000. 

According to the list of ranking released by the Fortune 500 in July this year, FAW managed to have climbed up to the 87th from 125th.
