On November 8, the 6th Jilin Ethnic Minority Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition, hosted by the Jilin Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee and the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee of the CPPCC Jilin Provincial Committee, guided by the Jilin Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and organized by the Jilin Ethnic Painting Academy, officially kicked off at the Changchun Fangzhou Art Gallery.

The theme of this exhibition is "Pomegranate Blossoms with Fragrance of Ink", aiming to showcase the spirit of ethnic unity, symbolized by "all ethnic groups holding together like pomegranate seeds". It is a rare high-level and high-quality artistic exchange event for the ethnic painting and calligraphy community in Jilin Province. The exhibition features over 300 exquisite works, each expressing the heartfelt emotions of the ethnic minorities and conveying a patriotic spirit.

In the next step, the Jilin Ethnic Painting Academy will continue to be rooted in Northeast China, deeply embedded among the masses, and go to the fields and lands to perceive popular feelings, aiming to express the sentiments of Jilin people and sing the songs of the new era through the medium of painting and calligraphy.

The exhibition will run until November 14.
