Application Requirements:
Marriage: (1) Marriage Registry has jurisdiction; (2) require both parties to the marriage of men and women to apply the marriage registration office; (3) The parties at least 22 years of age male and female over 20 years of age; (4) the parties did not direct blood relatives or collateral relatives by blood relationship within three generations; (5) Both parties shall consent to marry each other;
Divorce: (1) requires both spouses to divorce the marriage registration office to apply; (2) both have full civil capacity; (3) The parties held a divorce settlement; (4) a party must be a permanent residence in the city residents; (5) party holds a marriage registration office or the mainland Chinese embassies (consulates) Hall issued marriage certificate.
Application materials:
Marriage:Ⅰ. Statement or certificate on ID card or other valid certificate、no spouse and no lineal relative or collateral relative by blood up to the third degree of kinship of the other party.1、Ningbo resident:(1) the household register and ID card; and(2) signed statement on no spouse and having no relations of direct relatives or collateral relatives within three generations with the other.2. A resident from Hong Kong、Macau and Taiwan .(1) The original and copy of the effective passport and identification card; his/her valid exit-entry permit and ID card; and(2) Signed statement notarized by the notary organization in the place of residence to prove that the resident from Hong Kong、Macau and Taiwan has no spouse and is not a lineal relative or collateral relative by blood up to the third degree of kinship of the other party. (Validity duration:6months)3. An overseas Chinese (including a Chinese living abroad):(1) The original and copy of effective passport; (2) The statement provided by the notary organization or other entitled organizations of the residence country and notarized by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate General in the residence country to prove that the resident has no spouse and is not a lineal relative or collateral relative by blood up to the third degree of kinship of the other party, or the statement provided by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate General in the residence country to prove that the resident has no spouse and is not a lineal relative or collateral relative by blood up to the third degree of kinship of the other party.(Validity duration:6months)4. A foreigner: (1) The original and copy of the effective passport or other effective international travel documents;(2) The statement provided by the notary organization or other entitled organizations of the residence country and notarized by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate General in the residence country or notarized by the Embassy or Consulate General of the residence country in China to prove that the resident has no spouse, or the statement provided by the Embassy or Consulate General of the residence country in China to prove that the resident has no spouse.(Validity duration:6months)Ⅱ.The chinese translation of foreign language materials should be provided,and need to go to designated agency。Ⅲ. Both parties shall submit three recent 2-inch half-length bareheaded joint photos.
Divorce：1.ID card or other valid certificate：（1）household register and ID card of Ningbo resident；(2) the Hong Kong resident, Macau resident or Taiwan resident applying for divorce registration shall also produce his/her valid exit-entry permit and ID card（3）the overseas Chinese or foreigner applying for divorce registration shall also produce his/her valid passport or other valid international travel documents.2.marriage certificate；3.divorce agreement signed by both parties。The divorce agreement shall record both parties’ intention of voluntary divorce and consensus on issues of children bringing-up and property and liability treatment.4.Both parties shall submit two recent 2-inch half-length bareheaded joint photos.
