On the evening of December 11, Xue Chunzhi, Director of Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, attended the "Reception in Commemoration of the 85th Anniversary of the Passing of Dr. Norman Bethune and His Contributions to the Longstanding People-to-People Ties Between Canada and China" in Beijing. During the event, Xue engaged in a cordial discussion with Jean-Christian Brillant, Deputy Head and Minister (Commercial) at the Embassy of Canada in China, and Diana Tan, Counselor for Public Diplomacy. He warmly invited the Canadian Ambassador to China, along with embassy officials and their families, to attend the Vasaloppet China to be held on January 4, 2025.
