Video Conference Ushers in a New Chapter of Cooperation Between Changchun and Krasnoyarsk

Driven by Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, Changchun Municipal Education Bureau, and the Foreign Affairs Office of Krasnoyarsk, Russia, the "Sino-Russian Elementary and Secondary Education Cooperation Video Conference" took place in Changchun and Krasnoyarsk on the morning of May 8.
 
The event was held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Changchun and Krasnoyarsk, expand cooperation in elementary and secondary education, and promote friendly relations between Changchun Foreign Languages School and Krasnoyarsk First High School. The event was attended by Inna Dozortseva, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Krasnoyarsk, Ou Shuo, Deputy Director of Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, Kuksenko Elena, Principal of Krasnoyarsk First High School, and Wang Hao, Principal of Changchun Foreign Languages School, who also gave speeches.
 
Ou Shuo mentioned that this year marks the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between China and Russia, as well as the 10th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Changchun and Krasnoyarsk. On this significant occasion, promoting an inter-school partnership between Changchun Foreign Languages School and Krasnoyarsk First High School can not only broaden and deepen educational cooperation between the two cities but also strengthen the friendship between the cities and enhance local cultural exchanges between China and Russia. Inna Dozortseva expressed gratitude for the strong support from all parties involved in educational cooperation between the two cities and hoped that the cooperation between the two schools would deepen traditional friendships and promote youth cultural cooperation between China and Russia.
 
The video conference also provided an opportunity for in-depth exchanges of educational concepts and teaching methods between the two schools. The principals introduced their respective school characteristics, curriculum design, and achievements in international education exchanges. They also had detailed discussions on ways of further strengthening cooperation, achieving education resource sharing, promoting teacher-student exchanges, and signing cooperation agreements.
 
The International Cooperation and Exchange Division of Changchun Municipal Education Bureau and the European and African Affairs Division of Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office participated in the event.
