Jing Junhai Meets with the Vietnamese Communist Party Delegation

On March 19, Jing Junhai, Secretary of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee, met with the Vietnamese Communist Party delegation led by Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Secretariat and Chairman of the Commission for External Relations of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Communist Party.
 
Jing Junhai warmly welcomed the delegation. He said that China and Vietnam are friendly socialist neighbors connected by mountains and rivers, and their destinies are closely intertwined. Jilin Province has long attached great importance to developing cooperation with Vietnam, deepening economic and trade exchanges, and promoting fruitful cooperation results in various fields. Currently, we are thoroughly implementing the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, promoting Jilin to take the lead in achieving new breakthroughs in comprehensive revitalization in the new era, and contributing to propelling Chinese modernization with Jilin strength. We are willing to work together with various regions of Vietnam to implement the important consensus reached by General Secretary Xi Jinping and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Firmly grasping the major opportunities of high-quality "Belt and Road" construction and the implementation of the RCEP, we will further improve the connection mechanism, continuously deepen exchanges and cooperation in the fields of equipment manufacturing, modern agriculture, trade and investment, and cultural tourism, enhance traditional friendship for better development of both countries, and make greater contributions to building a strategic community of shared future between China and Vietnam.
 
Le Hoai Trung expressed his willingness to collaborate with the Chinese side to practice the important consensus by facilitating the establishment and improvement of the bilateral exchange mechanism and further deepen practical cooperation and friendly communication, so as to better promote traditional friendship and bolster bilateral relations for mutual benefit and win-win results.
