According to the Overall Training Plan 2021 for Officials of Foreign Affairs, Ou Shuo, Deputy Director General of Changchun Foreign Affairs Office (CCFAO) delivered a lecture on the knowledge of foreign affairs Friday afternoon on November 12, 2021. The effort is meant to reinforce the construction of the team of cadres and meanwhile improve the competency of new officials of foreign affairs. 

Ou Shuo emphasized the important role of CCFAO in serving the national diplomacy and the local opening up and development policy, and shared with the participants instructive and practical knowledge of foreign affairs through pictures and real cases in six aspects of department profile, etiquette, discipline, security, requirement and practice. 

The effort was said to have not only enriched the basic professional knowledge, broadened the vision of foreign affairs and improved the ideological and political position but also strengthened the commitment to and confidence of new cadres in foreign affairs. What’s highlighted in the lecture encouraged the participants and made them realize once again the importance of improving their abilities of politics, planning, communication, public diplomacy, reform and innovation. In the future, CCFAO will speed up the pace of creating such a team of foreign affairs featuring high political quality, strong professional competency and strict work discipline that is able to weather the tests of winds and waves in the course of serving the socioeconomic development of the city.
