The customs clearance for the first-batch international express was completed at the Supervision Center of Xinglong Comprehensive Bonded Area Thursday morning on November 12, marking that the inbound and outbound express business had been opened officially. 

The first deal was requested by Hubei Express Co., Ltd. with goods shipped from Canada to Changchun Longjia International Airport and then transported to Changchun Xinglong Comprehensive Bonded Area by means of customs transfer. The goods, 104kg and RMB24,000, mainly cover clothing, daily necessities and health care products. With the strong support for sorting and checking from Changchun Xinglong Customs, the goods will soon be delivered to the recipient.

Since the Changchun International Express Supervision Center was approved, the Port Economy Administration of Changchun Xinglong Comprehensive Bonded Area and the Investment and Construction Co., Ltd. of Changchun Xinglong Comprehensive Bonded Area have maintained close contacts with the authority of customs thanks to which such issues as putting waybills on record and mode of transportation were solved, application documents and elements as well as such processes as transportation, customs clearance and storage were clarified, which in turn has laid a solid foundation for big orders in the next step. Insiders say as such business goes stable 2,000 waybills will be handled a day at the Changchun International Express Supervision Center. 

As an important channel for customs clearance of goods and articles at the Changchun Xinglong Comprehensive Bonded Area, Changchun International Express Supervision Center is said to get combined with cross-border e-commerce and truck flights in the future as a favorable supplement to the construction of a comprehensive cross-border e-commerce service platform at the Changchun Xinglong Comprehensive Bonded Area, and thus facilitate the development of local economy.
