“Belt and Road” Cooperation Framework Agreement Signed by CCFAO, Thailand ASEAN-China Economic and Trade Promotion Association

Qi Guohua, Director General of Changchun Foreign Affairs Office (CCFAO), met with the 3-member delegation led by President Yang Fangshu of Thailand ASEAN-China Trade Promotion Association Tuesday morning on August 27, 2019. The delegation came mainly to attend the Northeast Asia Expo. On August 21, Liu Desheng, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Municipal Committee and Director General of the United Front Department of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee, hosted the delegation on August 21. 

 

To further promote the cooperation and exchanges between Changchun and Thailand, CCFAO invited Yang’s delegation to a meeting in which the two sides had in-depth talks and exchanged views on joining hands in promoting the cooperation in such fields as economic and trade cooperation, investment attraction and cultural exchanges. After the meeting, the two sides signed the Framework Agreement on “Belt and Road” Cooperation. According to the agreement, the two sides will make full use of each other’s advantages, share information resources, promote substantial exchanges, and maintain a high degree of trust so as to create more competitive advantages and lay a solid foundation for win-win cooperation and common development. Duan Huaxu, Deputy Director of CCFAO, attended the meeting and the signing ceremony.
