The first order of goods for export from Jilin Province completed customs clearance at the Hunchun Comprehensive Bonded Area, the first of its kind in Jilin Province, in line with the mode cross-border e-commerce “9810” on January 1, 2022.

The goods are more than 40,000 pairs of shoes and 500 plus protective covers worth RMB440,000 exported from Hunchun Changda E-commerce Co., Ltd. to the overseas warehouse in Vladivostok, Russia. Insiders say such mode can further improve overseas customers’ experience of goods, and meanwhile help overseas sellers with flexible inventory conversion and domestic enterprises with reduction of corresponding losses.

The mode “9810” refers to “overseas warehouse for cross-border e-commerce export”, suitable for the goods exported through cross-border e-commerce to overseas warehouse. Shortly after the General Administration of Customs replicated and promoted the B2B export supervision pilot of cross-border e-commerce across the country in July last year, the Hunchun Comprehensive Bonded Area and the Office of Customs in the area studied the new business model, helped enterprises with the mode “9710 and 9810” for export as an effort to meet the diversified demands of market and enterprises, and thus promote the development of cross-border e-commerce.
