IV. Project Profile and Construction Content: The project covers a land area of 5 square kilometers (2.6 square kilometers of construction area, 2.4 square kilometers of supportive service area). Taking Chinese history and civilization as the context, modern science and technology as illustration means, the project is meant to diversify the way of sightseeing, demonstrate the prosperous Chinese civilization and 5,000 years of history, and create a culture and tourism-based role model project featuring “world level, Chinese characteristics, ancient and modern fusion, sightseeing suitable for all ages” through which it is expected that each and every tourist can have a better understanding about, feel touched by and more proud of the magnificent Chinese history and culture, and thus reinforce the belief of the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation.

The project takes the development of Chinese history and civilization as the theme for planning as an effort to demonstrate in a systematic manner the development and attractiveness of Chinese culture in seven tourism and culture-based sections, namely, origin of myth (ancient classic of mountains and seas), etiquette of China (ancient dynasties of Shang and Zhou), unification of the world (great unification of dynasties of Qin and Han), opening up and prosperity (Prosperous dynasties of Sui and Tang), fusion of ethnic groups (chronicles of dynasties of Song, Jin, Liao and Yuan), inheritance of the ancient and birth of the modern (flourishing age of dynasties of Ming and Qing) and change of each passing day (new chapter of China).
