The Infrastructure Phase I Project of the New Energy Vehicle Inspection and Testing Park in the Automobile Economic and Technological Development Zone is expected to be delivered in December.
The Phase I Project is located south of Tengfei Road, west of Bing Ershiqi Street, and north of Bing Shisan Road. It holds significant importance for developing the new energy vehicle industry in Changchun City and even in Jilin Province. "Upon the delivery of the Phase I Project, it will become a national quality inspection and testing center integrating new energy vehicle testing, certification, calibration, and standard setting, providing technical support for new energy vehicle projects of enterprises like FAW Audi, and promoting the sustainable and healthy development of the new energy vehicle industry," introduced Bian Zengyuan, Director of the Automobile Department of the Jilin Province Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute. The Phase I Project will also construct multiple specialized laboratories, including the New Energy Vehicle Materials Laboratory, the New Energy Vehicle Battery Safety Standard Testing Laboratory, the New Energy Vehicle Battery Reliability Testing Laboratory, and the Passive Safety Testing Laboratory.
"After the delivery of the Phase I Project, it will be equipped with the most advanced equipment and technologies, thus possessing top-notch capabilities in testing finished new energy vehicles as well as testing power batteries, motors, and electronic control systems, solving the bottlenecks and pain points that hinder the development of new energy vehicles," said Bian Zengyuan.
