On February 28, Zhang Zhijun, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee, visited the businesses in China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone. He stressed the importance on the full implementation of the spirit of the CPC 20th National Congress as well as the requirement by the nation, province and city on the first-quarter economic work. Also, he said that the Demonstration Zone should accelerate the building of the advantage of new energy and new materials industries and enhance the investment intensity, technological content and total factor productivity to build an industrial ecosystem that is secure, diverse and completed as well as foster the growth points for high-quality development and new engines for revitalization and breakthrough.

The APTIV Electric System Co., Ltd. is one of the Global 500, and its projects for automobile wire harness manufacturing in China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone mainly include FAW-VOLKSWAGEN, FAW Hongqi and other facilities, which have been in the pilot production stage. Zhang Zhijun inspected the production line of wiring harness products to learn about the market layout, output value and development plans, and he encouraged the enterprise to play its advantage in multinational operations to strengthen the cooperation with Changchun automobile enterprises in the area of new energy automobiles and deeply integrate itself into the construction of an international automobile city.

Changchun Tianmingsheng Technology Co., Ltd. is a Korean-owned high-tech enterprise, mainly engaged in the technological R&D, production and sales of optical cement, and OLED OCA optical cement adhesive, one of the main products of the Company, has been widely applied for the panel touch screens of mobile phones and automobile equipments. Zhang Zhijun walked into the project production workshops and solicit the opinions and suggestions of the enterprise on the work of the Party committee and governments face to face, hoping that the enterprise can seize the opportunities of the "city linkage in six areas" and actively introduce the innovative technologies and advanced concepts, so as to accelerate the industrial distribution, enhance the competitiveness and achieve leapfrog development.

The projects of Jilin (Changchun) Carbon-neutral Magnetic Technology Industrial Park, with a total investment of RMB 5 billion, is committed to building a national cluster of rare-earth permanent magnet application industry. Currently, the building of magnetic technology exhibition center and pilot test base has been largely completed. Zhang Zhijun walked into the innovation exhibition center to learn about the R&D and scene application of the permanent magnet technological products, and he encouraged the enterprises to focus on the construction of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" demonstration city of Changchun and deepen the cooperation between the institutions, institutes, colleges and universities, and businesses, so as to expand the application in energy, transportation, industry and other fields and promote the integrating development of the industrial cluster.

Hydrogen energy industry is a key direction for the new energy development of Changchun. Zhang Zhijun visited the Changchun Green Power Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. of State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) and Changchun Jidian Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd. For the projects of Changchun Hydrogen Energy Production and Research Base of State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), Zhang Zhijun stressed that they should aim at the international first-class standard and accelerate the construction of the park to build the industrial cluster. While inspecting the "Renewable Energy + PEM Hydrogen Production + Hydrogenation" integrated innovation demonstration projects in the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone, Zhang Zhijun took a hydrogen energy bus for test to inspect the process of hydrogen production and hydrogenation, and he advised the personnel to standardize the hydrogenation operation and keep the bottom line for safety development.

Zhang Zhijun said that Jilin Province is vigorously advancing the "hydrogen energy promotes Jilin" action, and the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone should seize the new track for the development of green hydrogen energy industry and actively introduce the enterprises that are leading in the "production, storage, transportation, utilization and R&D" areas to accelerate the whole industrial chain layout and build the hydrogen energy industry cluster. Also, the Demonstration Zone should endeavor to improve the environment and help the businesses to expand the market by offering initiative service, building the platforms and providing the total factor guarantee, so as to achieve a "good start" for the first quarter.
