The 21st China Changchun International Agriculture and Foodstuffs Exposition (Transaction) is set to unveil in Changchun Modern Agricultural Park from August 18 to 27, 2022. This year, the Exposition is going to add Changchun Film Carnival, the official operation of which will start on the opening day of the Exposition.

The Carnival will be held near Gate 3 of the Park, and the expected operation time is from August 18 to October 15 this year. The new project is located at the intersection of Bohui Road and Xiangshu Street in the Jingyue National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. It is planned to transform this 13,000 m2 project with the theme of movie culture into the first movie-themed immersive cultural and creative neighborhood in northeast China constructed and operated by Jilin Zhongqing Tourism and Culture Investment Co.

The Carnival includes 15 performance stages for three themes: retro, "national tide" and science fiction; 25 thematic displays related to outstanding film and television works such as "Legend of the Demon Cat, "The Yinyang Master", "A Lifelong Journey", "The Battle at Lake Changjin" and "The Wandering Earth"; 18 special customized kiosks composed of film and television elements such as "The Legend of Nezha", "Chungking Express", "Big Fish & Begonia" and "Monster Hunt"; 57 independent kiosks featuring popular folk snacks and trendy toys. Each kiosk has been orchestrated to combine internet-famous elements with business needs.

After the official opening of the Park on August 18, Changchun Film Carnival will present hundreds of non-stop exciting performances for audiences every day. On various stages lining up the business street, performers will give thematic performances according to the stage design of national tide, retro or science fiction and create a stage effect of feeling and setting happily blended, allowing tourists to get an immersive viewing experience.
