A Major Move by FAW Hongqi!
Recently, the Technical Innovation Management Department of FAW R&D Institute has partnered with CICTCI. The collaboration focuses on the R&D of FAW Hongqi's intelligent bus onboard terminals based on C-V2X technology, and aims to accelerate the development of vehicle-road-cloud integration.
During event support and passenger transfer processes, the C-V2X technology in the onboard intelligent terminals can clearly and accurately provide speed limit notifications and collision risk warnings in the park. When driving through speed limit sections, C-V2X can receive speed limit messages broadcasted from roadside equipment and promptly push overspeed reminders to the vehicle. During driving, if the vehicle ahead travels too slowly or stops abnormally, C-V2X can directly receive information from the vehicle ahead and provide early warnings to prevent rear-end collisions, sudden braking, etc., thus offering passengers a safer and more reliable travel experience.
The collaboration will further enhance Hongqi's R&D capabilities in exploring deployable and mass-producible vehicle-road-cloud systematic solutions and hardware and software terminal products. Moving forward, FAW R&D Institute will continue to innovate in ecological collaboration. Using Hongqi's intelligent buses as a carrier, it will give full play to its technological demonstration advantages to inspire new momentum for the leapfrog development of Hongqi's intelligent connected vehicles.
