Next-Generation Domestically Produced Vehicle Power Supply by Hongqi Enters Mass Production

Recently, the next-generation domestically produced 3kW DC/DC vehicle power supply developed by FAW Research and Development Institute has obtained the OTS test approval and smoothly entered mass production.
In the course of transitioning to domestically produced chips, this component successfully passed 117 rigorous trials across five categories of functionality, performance, environmental adaptability, electromagnetic compatibility, and prohibited substance testing. While accelerating the application of domestically produced chips, the quality and performance of the component are not compromised. After mass production, the utilization rate of domestically produced chips in this component has increased from 0 to 60%, achieving comprehensive optimization in performance, quality, and cost.
During the design process of this component, breakthroughs were made in DC/DC reverse pre-charge technology. While achieving functions such as reverse pre-charge and intelligent detection of high-voltage electrical system faults, it can automatically adjust the pre-charge current based on the state of charge of the low-voltage battery, avoiding excessive voltage drop of the low-voltage battery during the pre-charge process, and providing safety assurance for vehicle power supply.
Meanwhile, the next-generation domestically produced vehicle power supply by Hongqi adopts a modular design concept, which will realize universal installation in various Hongqi models. Through localization of high-value core components and integration of reverse pre-charge functions, the traditional high-voltage pre-charge circuit is eliminated, and the connection of the high-voltage system is simplified, improving the reliability of the high-voltage system and reducing overall costs with a more economical and reliable product solution.
