The list of winners of World Car Awards was unveiled. ID.4 appeared on the list with a score of 798 due to its innovative, sustainable zero direct emission technologies. 

The World Car Awards is one of the most important automotive awards and the most credible selection around the world due to the fact that the productivity of cars eligible for such selection should not be less than 10,000 a year which are sold at least in two continents at the same time. 

Insiders say having won the award means ID.4 has been widely recognized by the world’s top-notch experts. As the first edition for the major markets in Europe, China and the United States, ID.4 represents that ID has taken a step forward to realize comprehensive electrification. 

It is the fifth time that Volkswagen has won the award. Its brand Golf did so twice in 2009 and 2013 respectively.
