Highlights of Parks worth Visiting in National Day Holiday in Changchun City

It is that time of the year again when the public are making plans for outing during the forthcoming National Day holiday. Among the ideal tourist destinations and travel routes, several parks in Changchun City are also worth visiting to enjoy the beautiful sceneries of autumn. 
 
Children’s Park—Autumn Chrysanthemum in Blossom  
The Exhibition of Autumn Chrysanthemum, an event held once a year, is about to be started. From September 28 to October 7, some 200 kinds of chrysanthemum flowers covering 15,000 plus plants will be exhibited.  
According to the organizing committee, several sections and exhibits, including the Rising Dragon, Chrysanthemum Fairy, Flaunting Peacock Tail and also the largest ever chrysanthemum-based Two Dragons after the Pearl, an exhibit of 35 meters long, are expected to become new attractions for visitors. The entrance fee is RMB10/adult but is free for children of less than 1.2 meters tall and certified senior citizens, soldier and the handicapped.  
 
South Lake Park—Enjoying Autumn Colors in Birch Forest  
To enjoy autumn sceneries, the Birch Forest in the South Lake Park is a nice place for both local citizens and photography and painting fans in each and every golden autumn. Breeze blowing, the lake is sparkling, accompanied with rounds of rustling sounds from the birch forest. Come and enjoy the coziness of sunshine while appreciating the beauty of autumn inside the park. 
 
Lanrao Lake Park—Wild Ducks and Superb Ecological Surroundings 
At the Lanrao Lake Park, wild ducks are most the popular attraction. “There are also cryprinus carpiod, lotus flower, plus these cute ducks, inside this park. It is not big but it provides an ecological beauty of nature,” said a citizen surnamed Li.  
According to Cui Bo, Section Chief of Management, there have been more than 70 wild ducks living in this park. It is the best time of the year with well-spaced red and yellow leaves. The park, the first of its kind in Changchun City, provides visitors free wifi, and knowledge popularizing corridors advocating for ecological civilization. 
 
Sculpture Park—Sea of Seven Colors and Romantic Leaves  
The sceneries especially red leaves in the Changchun World Sculpture Park are really beautiful. In a few days before and after the National Day holiday, lots of leaves are becoming golden yellow or red, making the park, decorated with green pine trees, look like a gorgeous, eye-catching painting.  
In early autumn season, the sea of seven-color terrace flowers, which is situated in the southern part of the Songshan & Hanrong African Art Museum, is expected to provide visitors superb visual effects featuring blue, purple, red, white, yellow and other colors in middle till the National Day holiday.  
 
Changchun Park—Spring for Wild Flowers Park  
Most wild flowers, perennial or herbaceous, which are in the western part of Changchun Park, have entered the flowering period. A picturesque scenery featuring “breeze creates waves of crystal, and brings fragrance of flowers in blossom”. The section covers a land area of 5,000 square meters for more than 2000 plants of wild flowers. 
The park highlighting the combination wild flowers and grasses makes it possible for the public to enjoy the beauty of nature without going out of town. For outing during the forthcoming National Day holiday, the section of wild flowers inside the Changchun Park is indeed an ideal place.
