Dong Fa He Tea House
Changchun Dong Fa He Tea House is located in the southeast of the intersection of Dama Road and Sima Road. It was opened founded by Hue Ziwen in 1914, which later also became a time-honored brand in Changchun.
In 1903, Dama road in Changchun was completed and the surrounding gradually became the commercial and cultural center of the time. As the most prestigious culture in China,, tea culture also took root and thrived on the Dama Road. The tea culture of Changchun emerged from the Dama Road. At that time, more than 130 tea houses were built here, among which Dong Fa He Tea House was the most famous.
At the end of the last century, the former site of Dong Fa He Tea House was demolished, and then it was moved relocated to No. 50 Dongsima Road, on the east side of Dama Road, facing another time-honored brand Ding Feng Zhen across the street. Since its establishment, Dong Fa He Tea House has experienced five historical periods of the late Qing Dynasty, the Republic of China, the Puppet Manchuria ruling, the national rule after the recoveryof Kuomintang, and the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
