On August 19, reporters learned from the construction team of Changchun Blue Sky Park that this flagship aviation-themed tourism destination, built on the foundation of Changchun International Aviation Expo City, will officially open in September.

"The park's design features a botanical aviation expo park nestled in a forest city, where aviation heritage harmoniously blends with natural ecosystems. Through meticulous planning of four thematic zones, it offers citizens and tourists an integrated experience combining ecological conservation, cultural immersion, and recreation," said chief designer Chen Jun.

Leveraging existing topography and water systems, the park creates a borderless integration of mountains and waters. The four zones—Aviation Culture & Art Zone, Aviation Vitality & Recreation Zone, Aviation Heritage Ecological Research Zone, and Aviation Expo Plaza—form an interconnected spatial layout that showcases northern China's expansive charm while offering diverse aviation cultural experiences.

"Each zone maintains its uniqueness while connecting through scenic pathways and water features, creating a synergistic experience," Chen explained.

Prioritizing ecological restoration, the park revitalizes natural landscapes through water system enhancement. Breaking from traditional expo models, it offers immersive scene integration via the Ten-li Aviation Trail Loop, featuring aviation murals, aircraft-inspired sculptures, and a Flight Enthusiast Theme Park. Near the Aviation University of the Air Force, interactive facilities like flight simulators and knowledge interactive screens have been set up.

"Through ecological governance and cultural infusion, the park accommodates various visit types including day trips, in-depth tours, and research programs," said on-site designer Liu Fenghua. "We envision it evolving into a premier destination integrating aviation exhibitions, eco-recreation, and cultural immersion, injecting new vitality into Changchun's tourism industry."
