Following the Opening Ceremony of the 22nd Vasaloppet China, the three professional ice and snow events of Vasaloppet, namely 50-kilometer, 25-kilometer, and 2.5-kilometer races, kicked off. Over 700 athletes from countries including the United States and Sweden, as well as 30 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China, participated in the events.
Integrating professional events, ice and snow sports, cultural exchange, and economic and trade cooperation, the 22nd Vasaloppet China serves as the main event for various activities in the 2023-2024 snow season of the Jingyue High-Tech Zone. It is also an important part of the 7th Snow Expo & "Ice and Snow Silk Road" World Development Conference in Jilin and the 27th Ice and Snow Festival in Changchun.
