The 12th Jilin (Changchun) Winter Agriculture Expo Scheduled from January 20 to February 7 at Changchun Agri-Expo Park

The 12th Jilin (Changchun) Winter Agriculture Expo will be held at the Agri-Expo Park from January 20 to February 7, 2022. The theme of the exposition is “brand, eco-friendliness, health and auspiciousness”. The combination of green agriculture, ice and snow tourism as well as the customs and traditions of Chinese New Year will be highlighted to enrich the cultural life of both citizens and farmers in line with the concept of “developing green agriculture, creating healthy brands, driving product trading and disseminating the customs and culture of Chinese New Year”. 

The exhibition covers an area of 200,000 square meters mainly at the open space for five categories of exhibits inside the Agricultural Expo Park.

How to go to the venue by bus? How to park if you go by your car? How to buy tickets? The answers to these questions are as follows: 

Transportation: There is a Shuttle Route for Agriculture Expo. 

To alleviate the traffic pressure during the exposition, a “special bus route for the agricultural exposition” has been opened with the support of the Public Transport Group. 

In the meantime, an area totaling 50,000 square meters will be opened free parking during the exposition. 

Inside the park there are tour shuttles for the visitors to visit every part of the park. 

Ticket: RMB20  

The ticket is RMB20, which can be booked through the WeChat, or available at the ticketing centers near the gates 17 and 12. The organizing committee says the park is open free to the children under 1.2 meter, the elderly over 65 years old, soldiers in service or retired, the handicapped and medical staff members with valid certificates. 

In addition, the visitors’ center inside the greenhouse totaling 60,000 square meters provide free drinking water, strollers, wheelchairs, crutches, mobile phone charging piles as well as lockers, inquiry and other services. 

Reminders:  

 “Auspicious code” (or “health code” of other regions) and “travel code in green” and body temperature testing are needed before entering the park. The visitors should keep a distance of one meter and follow the signs on floor along the entrance channel. Wear masks and keep social distance during the visit. 

There is a strict limit on the number of staff members of exhibitors whose ID cards, exhibition cards, code and temperature testing are needed. Sufficient disposable gloves, masks, disinfectants, disinfectant wipes shall be prepared. Preventive, daily disinfections shall be conducted and put on record. Entering the booth, one must wear his or her mask. The two sides in talks must keep social distance and make sure personal protection done as required.    

According to the action plan for pandemic control and prevention, sufficient disinfectants, hand soaps, sanitizers, disinfection equipment, garbage cans for medical wastes and other anti-pandemic supplies shall be prepared in place. Regular preventive disinfections for public places shall be arranged to minimize risk and ensure the safety of both citizens and exhibitors.
