On August 26, Hu Yuting, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Governor of Jilin Province, met with distinguished guests attending the 15th China-Northeast Asia Expo in Changchun, including Paata Kalandadze, Ambassador of Georgia to China, Zhang Yanjun, General Manager of China Dongfang Electric Group Co., Ltd, and Lin Chuqin, President of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of K.C. Salt International Co., Ltd. The event was also attended by Yang Andi and Sun Jian, Vice Governors of Jilin Province, along with Gu Gang, Mayor of Changchun, and Liu Wei, Secretary General of the People's Government of Jilin Province.

On behalf of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and the provincial government, Hu Yuting warmly welcomed the guests. After briefly introducing the provincial conditions and the sound momentum of economic and social development in Jilin, he noted that hosting the 15th China-Northeast Asia Expo is a significant initiative for Jilin to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on promoting high-level opening up and to establish China's northern gateway for opening up. Hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the People's Government of Jilin Province, this year's China-Northeast Asia Expo is themed "Partnering for Openness and a Win-win Future in Northeast Asia". The expo is committed to building a new platform for industrial and supply chain cooperation, a new pillar for developing new quality productive forces, a new lever for expanding trade and investment, a new vehicle for boosting and upgrading consumption, and a new bridge for people-to-people exchanges and mutual learning. It will further elevate regional economic and trade cooperation in Northeast Asia to new heights. Hu expressed the hope that the guests would take this expo as an opportunity to deepen economic and trade exchanges in fields such as new energy vehicles, modern agriculture, optoelectronic information, and artificial intelligence, facilitate the implementation of more enterprises and projects, strengthen interactions in sports, culture, and tourism related to ice and snow, and work together to ensure that development achievements benefit people of all countries and achieve a higher level of mutual benefit and win-win results.

Paata Kalandadze, Zhang Yanjun, Lin Chuqin, and other guests delivered speeches, speaking highly of the vigorous progress of Jilin's revitalization and breakthroughs. They pledged to leverage their strengths to engage actively with Jilin's development. This will involve tapping broader and deeper cooperation potential, bringing in more high-quality resources, and encouraging more enterprises to explore and invest in Jilin, thereby sharing in the opportunities of its high-quality development.
