On June 11, Zhang Enhui, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee, Wang Zhihou, Director of the Standing Committee of Changchun Municipal People's Congress, Gu Gang, Mayor of Changchun City, and Gao Zhiguo, Chairman of the Changchun Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, jointly met with important guests attending the 3rd Changchun International Optoelectronic Expo · Light Conference and the Chinese Optical Society Changchun Academic Conference.

Zhang Enhui said that Changchun is the cradle of China's optical industry. Hosting the CCIOE is a concrete measure for Changchun to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions and to carry out the work arrangements for the "NO.1 Project" of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Jilin Provincial People's Government. It is also a key platform for us to promote the high-quality development of the optoelectronic information industry and enhance the influence of the optoelectronic brand. Currently, Changchun regards the optoelectronic information industry as an important focus and breakthrough point for accelerating industrial transformation and upgrading and fostering new quality productive forces, vigorously developing the "six major industrial clusters" of optoelectronic information, and achieving a new leap in our industrial capacity. He expressed hope that all guests, with the CCIOE as a bond, would join hands with us to seize opportunities on the new track of industrial development. This will promote more industries, projects, and achievements to settle in Changchun, leading to high-quality development via mutual benefit and win-win cooperation.

The guests all expressed that Changchun, with its comprehensive industrial system, robust innovation momentum and promising growth prospects, is a prime destination for innovation, entrepreneurship and investment in the optoelectronic sector. They will further expand practical cooperation at multiple levels and across wide-ranging fields, share the dividends of industry development with Changchun, and contribute to accelerating Changchun's scientific and technological innovation and industrial upgrading.
