Changchun Modern Metropolitan Area's Premium Products Shine in Hangzhou! High-Quality Agricultural Goods Captivate the Yangtze River Delta
On April 27, the investment promotion and signature agricultural products series event featuring high-quality farm produce from the cities within Changchun's modern metropolitan area kicked off in Hangzhou. Authentic treasures from the Songliao Plain made a collective debut, officially opening the door to the consumer market in the Yangtze River Delta.

The event was led by the Changchun Grain and Material Reserve Bureau and co-organized by relevant departments and Changchun Daily. It brought together four cities—Changchun, Jilin, Siping, and Liaoyuan—with 15 leading agricultural enterprises showcasing over 100 specialty products from the black soil region, including Northeast rice, sweet corn, premium beef, and healthy coarse grains. The vibrant display drew Hangzhou merchants and residents alike, who stopped to sample and admire the offerings. Many local residents praised the sweetness and pleasantly chewy texture of Northeast corn, noting that tasting it fresh was an even better experience. Purchasers also commented that Changchun's agricultural products are green, healthy, and consistently high-quality, perfectly matching the health-conscious consumer demands of the Yangtze River Delta, and offering promising cooperation prospects.

Thanks to the rare advantage of the golden planting belt at 43° north latitude, these premium products—nurtured by cold black soil, grown slowly with just one harvest per year, and backed by full eco-chain traceability—fully demonstrate the robust green and safe agricultural strength of the Changchun metropolitan area. The event saw fruitful government-enterprise collaboration. Hangzhou Wucheng Technology Co., Ltd. and Changchun Chengkai Agricultural Investment Trading Co., Ltd. reached a strategic partnership to jointly build production-distribution channels, co-create quality brands, and establish a direct supply chain bringing black soil treasures straight to the Yangtze River Delta.

This promotional event marks an important step for agricultural products from Changchun's modern metropolitan area to actively "go global," expand market reach, and enhance brand visibility. Riding on the momentum of paired cooperation between Jilin and Zhejiang provinces, the north and south are complementing each other's strengths and sharing resources. This will help more black soil products take root in the south and gain nationwide popularity, turning high-quality agricultural goods into "golden nuggets" that boost agriculture and enrich farmers, while continuously fueling new drivers for coordinated agricultural development between northern and southern China.
