Online Conference on "Sino-Russian Dialogue: Synergy in Science, Technology, and Education Strategies" Successfully Held

On the morning of April 28, the online conference titled "Sino-Russian Dialogue: Synergy in Science, Technology, and Education Strategies," hosted by Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University in Russia, was successfully held.



or of the Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, extended his congratulations to the conference via a letter as a representative of the sister city. During the opening ceremony, the host read aloud Deputy Director Ou Shuo's congratulatory letter. In his letter, Deputy Director Ou highly commended the profound friendship between the two cities over the years and expressed his aspiration for deeper cooperation in education, science, and technology, with a view to enriching the sister-city relationship and achieving mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.



The conference not only brought together representatives from more than a dozen universities in China and Russia but also garnered significant attention from relevant authorities in both countries. The Department for the Integration and International Cooperation of the National Education System under the Russian Ministry of Education and the Representative Office of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Krasnoyarsk each sent congratulatory letters and video messages to the event. Additionally, officials from the Chinese Consulate General in Yekaterinburg participated in the conference online.


The conference focused on three priority areas for Sino-Russian university cooperation in science and education: fostering the spiritual and moral values of children and adolescents; building a unified Sino-Russian educational space; and developing technological and digital platforms to enhance the quality of education. During the conference, representatives from seven Chinese and Russian universities shared their perspectives and practical experiences on these core topics.


Notably, with the active facilitation of our office, Changchun Normal College participated in the conference online. In her address, Rector Maria Kholina explicitly stated that Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University would take this conference as an opportunity, building on the foundation of sister-city cooperation, to further promote interaction and exchanges between higher education institutions in the two cities. She also specifically expressed her wish to establish future cooperation with Changchun Normal College.



The successful convening of this conference not only established a high-level platform for educational and scientific dialogue between Chinese and Russian universities but also injected new momentum into future higher education cooperation between Changchun and Krasnoyarsk.
